unleash creativity while building acting skills
and self-confidence. Students will learn the
important differences between stage and
on-camera acting. This course explores the
skills necessary to audition and act for
commercials, TV, and films. Students will learn
to perfect their slate, make concrete acting
"choices" and how to "own" their audition.
Includes on-camera review and video playback.
There will be supervision during the lunch hour
for students also enrolled in the afternoon
class. While this is not a performance
class, there will be a showcase for students to
demonstrate to parents what they learned. |

"You're so funny…YOU SHOULD BE A COMEDIAN!" This
class is all about laughter, sketches, standup
and funny characters. Students develop and
perform original sketch comedies while
developing their own style and learning comic
timing. Participants will also have the
opportunity to try out stand up in a safe and
supportive environment. There will be
supervision during the lunch hour for students
who would like to enroll in the morning class.
While this is not a performance class, there
will be a showcase for students to demonstrate
to parents what they learned. |
