This camp is all about laughter, sketches and funny characters. Students play improv games, develop their own style and learning comic timing. Participants build confidence performing on stage, learn to work as a team and think on their feet. No singing or dancing.

YOUTH TV and FILM ACTING "iCarly" and "Drake and Josh"
AGES 8-12

This course will give students practical skills and experience working on-camera alone and with partners. Participants will learn audition skills, and the important differences between stage and on-camera acting. This camp improves speaking and reading skills.  No singing or dancing.

Performers in this group will memorize lines, songs and choreography from selected scenes from this popular musical for a condensed performance for family and friends. Students will build confidence and develop many skills including teamwork and creative thinking. 

KIDS “GLEE” SHOW CHOIR-CONTEMPORARY SONGS
AGES 6-8

Our professional show choir director will work with students on solos, duets, and ensemble pieces from popular contemporary songs. Participants will learn to read sheet music, and progress from basic to more advanced singing skills learning and perfecting breath control, phrasing and expanding range. Includes basic dance movements.
 

YOUTH “GLEE” SHOW CHOIR-CONTEMPORARY SONGS
AGES 8-12

Our professional show choir director will work with students on solos, duets, and ensemble pieces from popular contemporary songs. Participants will learn to read sheet music, and progress from basic to more advanced singing skills learning and perfecting breath control, phrasing and expanding range. Includes basic dance movements.

Learn or improve on acting and audition techniques including cold reading, monologue selection, stage presence and making character choices.  Students improve speaking and reading skills. No singing or dancing.  Participants must be able to read.

TWEENS PROFESSIONAL SERIES MASTER ACTING CLASS
AGES 9-12

This is an advanced audition-only program for the best and the brightest young talent. Each week a different industry professional will guest at FVR to teach an intensive workshop on an individual discipline including on-camera acting, monologues, improv and audition technique for theatre. Also included is information on obtaining an agent and the business of acting. This class is for serious performers only.

Prepare and memorize a 1-minute monologue.
Bring a professional 8 x 10 headshot attached to a proper actor's resume.

This Master Class is for students working or ready to work professionally. Applicants without professional headshot and resume will not be considered.

Learn or improve on acting and audition techniques including cold reading, scenes, monologue selection, stage presence and making character choices.  Participants will learn how to audition for high school productions. Students improve public speaking skills. No singing or dancing.
