Rachel Rockwell (Director) is pleased to return to Noble Fool Theatricals where her work was last seen in It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play (2010), Married Alive and Mid-Life! The Crisis Musical. Recent directing credits include Ragtime (Jeff nomination) at Drury Lane Oakbrook, The Emperor’s New Clothes at Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Les Miserables (associate), Nunsense, Disney’s High School Musical, Seussical, Disney’s Aladdin, Princess and the Pea and Cinderella at the Marriott Theatre: Miss Saigon (Jeff nomination) and The Wizard of Oz at Drury Lane Oakbrook and You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown! at Drury Lane Water Tower Place. Rachel served as choreographer for A Chorus Line at the Marriott Theatre, Drury Lane Oakbrook’s production of The King & I (Jeff nomination), Bye Bye Birdie at Northwestern University, Up, Lost Land & The Cherry Orchard at Steppenwolf; Midlife! The Crisis Musical at Little Theatre on The Square; Houdini & Do Black Patent Leather Shoes… at the Marriott Theatre and The Merry Wives of Windsor, Romeo and Juliet & Measure for Measure at Chicago Shakespeare Theatre. As a performer, Rachel has appeared on Broadway in Mamma Mia! and national tours of Mamma Mia! and Hal Prince’s Show Boat. Chicago Magazine recently named her Chicago’s “best director” of 2010.
