Morgan Ball (Company
Manager) supervises the front-of-house staff and its day-to-day operations,
and human resources. Prior to joining Noble Fool in 2009, Morgan was the House
Manager at the Chicago Shakespeare Theater in
Chicago,
IL. Morgan has improved customer
service and accessibility at both Chicago Shakespeare Theater and at Fox Valley Repertory. During her employment at Chicago Shakes, the front-of-house
department was named the best customer service experience in Chicago. Morgan is an alum of the University of Illinois
at Chicago.
Laura Eilers (Assistant Production Manager and Technician on Duty) assists the production manager in
facilitating communication with designers, directors and stage management.
Eilers has assisted NFT since August of 2007. In addition, Eilers has served as
an Assistant Stage Manager for Illinois Shakespeare Festival and as a Carpenter
and Follow Spot Operator for Drury Lane Oakbrook. Eilers is a graduate of
Illinois State University with a major in Theater
and emphasis in Design/Production as well as minor in Music.
John Gawlik (Artistic Director) is responsible for selecting all the programming that
appears on stage. Additionally, John develops the creative teams behind each
production by working with some of the top directors, actors and designers in
the Chicagoland area. During his tenure, The Performing Arts Academy was
launched, overall attendance increased almost 50 percent and subscriptions
continue to set a new sales record each year.
An actor/director, John has appeared with or helmed productions for many
Chicago
area companies. Directing highlights include:
The Ruby Sunrise for The Gift Theatre Company which was named one of
the Top Ten shows of 2009 by TimeOut Chicago Magazine, Over the Tavern, A
Christmas Story, Underneath the Lintel, the Jeff Award winning production of
The Good Thief,
W;t, and Blithe Spirit.
As an actor, some of John's favorite productions include
Beauty Queen of Lennane with the Gift Theatre, A Skull
in Connemara at Northlight (After Dark Award, Ensemble), The Great
Society with Famous Door, and The Life and Times
of Tulsa Lovechild with Collaboraction (Jeff Award for Ensemble.
Television/Commercials/Voiceovers include Officer Collins on
ER, Dennis Carr for Planters Peanuts,
Casio, Sears, Chicago Sun-Times, Caterpillar and the voice of Bruno Bataglia
for Midway Games “Blitz The League” video game.
Scott Piner (Development Manager) began serving the company in early 2010 with the task of developing the areas of fundraising through grants, sponsorships, special events, and
individual contributions. Scott previously served as the Director of Youth
Programs for Apple Tree Theatre in
Highland Park. Piner is a theater graduate of Northern
Illinois University and has an MBA from Lake Forest Graduate
School of Management.
Tim Stadler (Production Manager) oversees and facilitates all productions. Tim began working with
the company in October 2009. Prior to working with Fox Valley Repertory, Tim
was Production Manager at Apple Tree Theatre in
Highland Park, Illinois.
Tim is an alum of College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati.
Audra Sybert
(Marketing Manager) is responsible
for public relations, marketing for the theater and educational programs, and
overseeing the Mainstage Theater Subscription Campaign.
Audra has been with FVR since 2006.
Prior to FVR, Audra was a marketing manager for Metropolis Performing
Arts Centre in
Arlington Heights, and has also worked
for Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Lyric Opera.
During her FVR career, Audra has helped quadruple subscription sales,
triple the amount of email fans, and create many online social networks for FVR.
She is a performing arts management graduate of Columbia College Chicago
and music business graduate of Lewis
University.
Colleen Tovar (Managing Director) is responsible for the day-to-day operations of
the company and has been with Fox Valley Repertory since its inception in
2004. Prior to working with Fox Valley Repertory, Colleen has worked
professionally as a Stage Manager (member of Actors’ Equity Association since
1999), Production Manager, College Instructor, Special Event Manager, Sound
Designer, Box Office Manager, Human Resources Manager and Catering Coordinator.
Colleen is an honored graduate of
Illinois State
University.
Tracy Whiteside (Education Manager) is responsible for all
education programming for Fox Valley Repertory’ Performing Arts Academy;
Tracy
also teaches class and directs student productions. Previously, Tracy served as a talent agent in New Jersey and taught workshops in modeling, acting,
singing, make-up, fashion, image and self-improvement. In the Chicagoland area,
Tracy teaches performing arts classes
at Elgin Community College and served on the
Board of Directors for First Street Playhouse. |
